The Party Premiere

THE PARTY is a new scripted comedy web series, coming to YouTube this month. "When a double-dealing newbie joins their D&D campaign, 5 friends are jolted out of their fantasy world."  Leah plays Thistle, one of the core five. Trailer available now, first two episodes premiere on YouTube 3.28.23. 


Festival Honors

February 2023

Two short films that Leah starred in were honored as finalists at the USC 2023 Feminist Media Festival, and a third to which she contributed took home Best Writer and Best Director. Congratulations Backlog, Plan Z, and Curtain Call!

Leah had the pleasure of appearing in four USC productions this Fall, and starring in two of them. She expects her honorary diploma soon.

Virtual reading directed by Ann Hearn Tobolowsky, starring Leah Jarvik as Agnes, Cynthia Brown as Mother Superior, and Ann Noble as Dr. Martha Livingston. In collaboration with VS. Theatre Company.

Cybernella with Culver City Public Theatre

You can catch Leah as Cybernella in Cybernella and Snow White in Rock Hopper, Penguin Detective every Saturday and Sunday this month at noon, with Culver City Public Theatre.

Kicking off 2021, Leah joins the Seattle Film Summit and #1 Amazon Bestseller Burt Weissbourd to read this screenplay adaptation of Weissbourd's third entry in the Corey Logan Trilogy. Leah plays Sara, a teenager who holds the key to the mystery, but whom nobody will believe.

Leah has become a regular of the Station House reading series with Detroit Street Films in Los Angeles. Screenwriters, actors, and other industry professionals gather each week to workshop new screenplays.

Teaching Artist at SCT

After completing the intern program in the summer of 2018, Leah returns to the Seattle Children's Theatre to teach creative drama and acting classes to students ages 4-13.

This solo show by Duncan MacMillan explores what it means to talk about depression and suicide in the same breath as resilience and joy. (Also, this performance is the most artistically fulfilling endeavor I have ever undertaken and I hope dearly to return to it someday.)
